CyberPowerPC Gamer Master Review: Can a $999 Prebuilt Compete with a $11,000 Custom Build?

hey everyone I just bought this cyberpowerpc review PC gaming computer from Amazon to compare to our $11,000 gaming PC build that we put together a couple of months ago and I wanted to give you a rundown on what this pre-built system comes.
with and how it benchmarks in a handful of games at 1440p resolution we’ll also go over some of this system’s pros and cons and discuss whether or not it might be an option for you to consider this is cyber power PC’s gamer Master model desktop of which there are a variety of different Hardware configurations available this.
specific system cost us $999 at the time we purchased it for specs this configuration of the gamer master came with a new AMD ryzen 5 7600 processor an Nvidia RTX 460 graphics card from Zotac 16 GB of ddr5 memory and a 500 GB nvme SSD it comes in one of cyber power PC’s own midtower cases the case has a tempered glass side panel a ful length p PSU shroud and four 120 mm argb fans the build also comes with an a620 chipset standard ATX motherboard and a lowprofile RGB cooler from Cooler.
Master I believe the specific model cooler is The Cooler Master a71 C for the power supply this system comes with an 850 wat unit from high power I wasn’t familiar with high power but in doing some research they seem to be an offshoot of certek high power is likely CK’s brand that focuses on making power supplies for pre-built PC companies many quality thermal power supplies are actually made by ctek so CTE at least has the capacity to make a good unit of course there’s no guarantee that this power supply is a quality unit but.

that’s the way it goes with pre-built systems you really are just rolling the dice on the power supply you get especially if you’re looking at pre-builts in the $1,000 or under price range still though this unit is probably good enough to power this. system cyber power PC also throws in a free keyboard and mouse combo this isn’t a high-end keyboard and mouse combination by any means but they are solid budget range options and a similar combo would likely cost you an additional $40 to $50 so if you need a keyboard and mouse to go.
along with your new pc the included peripherals from cyber power PC will help you save some money now one thing I want to point out that did irritate me a bit with this PC is the warning sticker that came on the tempered glass side panel this is one of those stickers that does not come off easily and it left a ton of residue behind I think anyone who has ever bought a product that has one of these stickers knows how annoying this process is you have to scrape the sticker off and then clean off the.
Cyberpowerpc review shocking news update.

leftover glue which is not a quick task I’ve gotten everything unboxed hooked the system up and now I want to be able to start using it and instead I have to spend time removing this sticker in the grand. scheme of things it is a minor annoyance but I think cyberpowerpc review PC needs to consider switching to using different stickers for performance we Benchmark the system on our 1440p resolution Acer Nitro display in six different games the RTX 4060 probably isn’t the most ideal GPU option for 1440p gaming but our goal in getting.
this pre-built system was to put out a video comparing the difference between a pre-built system and a PC build at the same price level and since we benchmarked our $1,000 build at 1440p resolution we’re going to Benchmark this pre-built PC at 1440p as well but we’ll go over the difference between this.
PC and our build we put together in our next video on to the benchmarks for cyberpunk 2077 the Cyber power PC Gamer Master performed admirably in a difficult to run game at the ray tracing Ultra preset the combination of the RTX 460 and the ryzen 5 7600 were able to achieve an average of 48 frames per second and 1% lows of 39 frames per second at the ray tracing low preset this.
- system was able to maintain an average of 65 frames per second second and 1% lows of 54 frames per second on the ultra preset with dlss set to balanced the gamer Master averaged 72 frames per second with 1% lows of 56 frames per second and on the high preset with dlss set to balance this system averaged nearly 100 frames per second with 1% lows at 67 frames per second as.
- you can see though dlss clearly helped the RTX 4060 achieve decent frame rates when we turned it off there was a more. than 10% difference and average frame rates but still if you’re willing to drop down from Max settings to the high preset this PC can handle cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p resolution fairly well in Starfield we tested the game at the ultra high and medium presets all with dlss turned on this PC was able to get 56 frames per second on average on the ultra preset with 1% lows of 41 FPS at.
the high reset this system maintained an average of 66 frames per second with 1% lows at 48 fps and at the medium preset Starfield ran at 81 frames per second on average with 1% lows of 59 frames per second we weren’t expecting to get highend performance out of the 4060 in Starfield at 1440p resolution but getting. over 60 frames per second on the high setting seemed pretty good all things considered in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla this PC was able to handle the ultra preset fairly well averaging 75
frames per second with 1% lows of 53 FPS at the very high preset it hit an average of 83 frames per second with the 1% low average of 59 frames per second and at the high preset it hit 88 frames per second on average with 1% lows coming in at 63 frames per second all in all solid performance at 1440p resolution for a very Graphics intensive game we also tested this pre-built PC on balers Gate 3 on both the ultra and high presets for the ultra preset set.
- the cyberpowerpc review PC Gamer master was able to deliver an average of 89 frames per second with 1% lows of 53 frames per second on the high preset the system averaged 91 frames per second on average again with 1% lows of 53 frames per second so not a huge difference between the two graphic. settings and this PC was able to handle the game at ultra settings. just fine fortnite is not widely regarded as a demanding title but at maxed out settings the game is fairly difficult to run fortunately there’s no real advantage to running the game at maxed out settings and you always have the option to use dlss to get better.
performance at Epic and high settings just note though that by default using dlss will automatically lower the 3D resolution of the game significantly so you won’t truly be able to run the game maxed out with dlss turned on at medium settings. this build was able to achieve an average frame rate of over 100 frames per second and on performance mode we hit over 250 frames per second on average allowing us to fully utilize our 180 HZ monitor we also tested this PC on cyberpowerpc review.
which admittedly probably isn’t the best game to Benchmark as it is still in Early Access however with its popularity right now we figured we’d see how well the system could handle it we tested. the game at both the Epic and high presets and this system was able to run the game. with no problems at Epic settings this PC averaged 89 frames per second with 1% lows of 65 frames per second and on the high preset we were able to hit an average of 93 frames per second with 1% lows of 67 frames per second we expect.
this system will be able to handle power at even higher average frame rates as the game progresses through development but if you were looking for a PC to handle it right now the combination of the ryzen 5 7600 and RTX 460 that this system comes with is more than enough to maintain an excellent in-game experience overall the performance was good enough to where this system would work well for 1440p gaming we also didn’t test the system in less demanding popular titles like variant or rocket League where it assuredly would have
been able to maintain an extremely high frame rate and would work well for high refresh rate gaming and I think that if you’re playing a mix of games. including some of the more demanding titles we benchmarked as well as mixing in some less demanding competitive titles this build will work very well at 1440p resolution however if your main goal is to play those more demanding titles at Max settings the combination of the ryzen 57600 and the RTX X 4060 would probably be better suited for 1080p gaming of course if you are willing to build your own gaming PC for the same.
price as this cyberpowerpc reviewPC desktop you could get even more performance in fact that’s what we did a couple of months ago and in our next video we’re going to compare this pre-built desktop to the build we put together to show you what the difference is between buying a pre-built PC and building your own system ultimately though as far as pre-built systems go this configuration of the game gamer master from cyberpowerpc review PC is pretty solid it’s going to give you decent 1440p performance on demanding titles and ideal performance in less.
demanding games and for 1080p gaming it will offer a near ideal in-game experience even in some of the more Graphics intensive games out there adding the fact that this desktop comes with a decent RGB keyboard and mouse combination and you can see that there’s a lot of value to be had here so if you have $1,000 to spend on a new gaming PC and you’re looking for solid outof the-box performance we’d recommend that you consider this.
PC from cyberpowerpc review PC before you make that decision though we’d also recommend that you strongly consider building your own system to get even more performance out of your budget if you feel up for building your own PC check out.
